Since 1976, we have advocated on behalf of initiatives and issues that further the cause of pharmaceutical innovation. Today, we remain the only university based, multi-disciplinary research group committed to exploring the economic, legal, scientific, and political factors that influence the discovery, development, regulation, and utilization of new prescription drugs.

Based on our long-term scholarly analyses of critical issues impacting the nature and pace of drug development, we often are asked to provide testimony at Congressional hearings, speak at conferences and public forums, and prepare executive reports.

Going forward, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, those who work with the research-based industry, drug regulators, and government policy-makers will need to better understand the myriad factors that affect new product development. We will continue to assist by:
