Leadership in Medical Affairs Course (online)
Tufts CSDD in partnership with IFAPP Academy is excited to offer a new six-week online course, Leadership in Medical Affairs, as a complement to the IFAPP-Kings College London, Medical Affairs in Medicines Development Professional Certification Program. This specialized leadership course will combine theoretical leadership principles, with relevance in Medical Affairs, and practical applications to provide professionals with an understanding on how to deliver value to an organization by translating real-world data, clinical outcomes, and other data insights into innovative solutions for patient needs and pharmaceutical challenges to allow for improved business development.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders while participating in business case discussions, lectures, webinars, forums, and panel discussions, entirely online.
AT THE COMPLETION OF THE COURSE, YOU WILL HAVE THE SKILLS TO:
Understand the role of Medical Affairs in the life-cycle management of medicines including clinical, regulatory, and marketing segments
Identify unmet therapeutic needs in the marketplace and design an end-to-end Clinical Development Plan
Help their employers retain key insights within the company and use these to effectively educate external stakeholders
Contribute to the design, execution, and evaluation of clinical trials y Interpret regulatory requirements at all levels and throughout each product lifecycle
Ensure surveillance methods meet U.S. & ICH global requirements and minimize risk for patients and clinical trial subjects
Facilitate employer objectives while meeting or exceeding compliance standards
The International Federation of Associations of Pharmaceutical Physicians and Pharmaceutical Medicine (IFAPP) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Pharmaceutical Medicine by enhancing the knowledge, expertise, and skills of pharmaceutical physicians and medicines development scientists worldwide. The IFAPP Academy is responsible for the development and implementation of all educational activities that support this mission.
